Ayoba African Fire is a compact shrub with beautiful bronze-red cones. Use as a filler plant or a short hedge. Works well as a container plant in a sunny spot. Ideal for low maintenance, low water use gardens.

Perfect for container gardening, borders or low hedges.

Plant in sandy/rocky soil.

Plant in well drained acidic soil. Water well to establish 1-2 years. Use a natural mulch low in phosphorus. Do not fertilize. Pick all flowers or cut back after flowering to maintain shape. In pots, water daily. Moderate frost tolerance once established, coastal conditions, wind tolerant.
