How to take care of your Tropical Fish

What do you need before you decide on purchasing Tropical Fish :

• A Fish Tank
• A heater
• Water conditioners
• Filtration
• Specific food which is only meant for Tropical Fish

Caring for your Tropical Fish :

• Make sure you give attention to water quality
• Do water changes every two weeks, by replacing at least 30%
• Replace filtration media and carbon monthly
• Always add dechlorinating conditioners to water and salt if your fish require
• Feed carefully, excess food pollutes the water
• Feed according to species requirements
• Watch out for disease and treat promptly
• Do not rinse filter media under tap water, but rather with tank water
• Unhappy fish have clamped tail fins
