Description

The King Protea is the most popular variety, having one of the largest flower heads in the Proteaceae family.  Ideal for low maintenance gardens and containers. Plant in Arnelia Premium Potting Soil. Moderate frost tolerance once established.

Plant in well drained acidic soil. Water well to establish 1-2 years. Use a natural mulch low in phosphorus. Do not fertilize. Pick all flowers or cut back after flowering to maintain shape. In pots, water daily.
