Description

The fig is a small deciduous tree with large leathery leaves. Cape White is early to mid-season and produces a small fruit with green to yellow skin and yellow to pink flesh. It has a short fleshy stem. It is used fresh, dried or preserved.

Plant in full sun and water moderately. The fruit bruises easily, therefore, pick before they are fully ripe and use fresh.

 

PROPOGATION:

Take long cuttings(30-40cm) in Winter while dormant and root in well-draining potting mix.
