• Replace filtration media and carbon monthly.
• Always add dechlorinating conditioners to water.
• Feed carefully, as excess food pollutes water.
• Feed according to species requirements.
• Watch out for disease and treat promptly.
• Do not rinse filter media under tap water, but rather with tank water.
